A beginning
that lasts.

Practical humanitarian work built around education, faith, clean water and the everyday foundations communities need to move forward.

Our purpose

Help should still be working after we leave.

Bidaya works alongside communities to strengthen the foundations people rely on every day: education, places of worship, clean water and household stability.

We fund, build, repair and support projects with the intention that they continue working long after the first intervention. That means thinking about operators, maintenance, permissions and follow-up from the beginning.

How Bidaya works

From needs assessment to verified use.

Five recorded stages keep local knowledge, permission, delivery evidence and follow-up in view.

  1. 01

    Listen

Understand the actual need with the people who will live with the result.

  2. 02

    Verify

Check permission, site, ownership, safety and whether the intervention makes sense.

  3. 03

    Deliver

Fund and oversee the work with qualified local people and specialists.

  4. 04

    Check

Inspect what was delivered instead of treating spend or completion as success.

  5. 05

    Continue

Plan for operators, maintenance and follow-up after main delivery.

Continuation

We don't leave when construction ends.

Choose a checkpoint to see how the plan follows work after handover.

At opening

Safe, documented acceptance

Permissions, tests, training, operator responsibilities, asset records and defect routes are checked before handover.

Programme focus

Seven scheduled chapters. Five programme areas in each.

The 2026–27 working plan connects education, mosques, water, relief and welfare in every field country. All remain planned—not active—until delivery is verified.

Amanah in practice

Trust should be visible.

Donors should be able to understand what was planned, what was funded, what was delivered and what remains unfinished.

How we work with your trust
01

Traceable spending

Clear distinctions between budgeted, committed and paid.

02

Verified delivery

Evidence before a project is described as complete.

03

Safeguarding

Privacy, consent and safe reporting routes.

04

Continuation

Operators, maintenance and follow-up planned early.
