Mosques

Bidaya may build or repair community mosques where need, ownership and operational responsibility are clear. Function, safety, water, sanitation and accessibility come before prestige architecture.

Our approach

The objective is not the most expensive building. It is a safe, dignified place the community can use and sustain.

Bidaya may build or repair community mosques where need, ownership and operational responsibility are clear. Function, safety, water, sanitation and accessibility come before prestige architecture.

Project scope and cost are set around verified local conditions. We do not sell a universal intervention at a universal price.

Potential scope

What this programme can include.

  • New modest prayer spaces where need is verified
  • Repairs to existing community mosques
  • Ablution, toilets and safe water
  • Safe electrics and basic accessibility
  • Maintenance and caretaker planning
Before we count success
  1. 01Building safety acceptance
  2. 02Water and sanitation commissioned

  5. 05Defects and repair route in place
